Downtown Street Camera Network
The Challenge
Work took place on live downtown streets — Yonge & Dundas, College, Queen and Carlton — with heavy foot and vehicle traffic, overnight work windows, bucket-truck access and strict public-safety requirements.
Scope of Work
- Mounting cameras on existing street-light and signal poles at multiple intersections.
- Bucket-truck and ladder work with fall protection, traffic and pedestrian control.
- Power and data connections at each camera position.
- Camera aiming and configuration for pedestrian-counting analytics.
- Verification of live video and directional count data before sign-off.
Results
Cameras installed, aimed and verified across the corridor, delivering live footage and directional pedestrian counts to the City.
